Stepping into a relatively new area for myself I've spent the whole of October 2011 with my buddies CW Chin and YH Kuan taking chances and learning about the stock market. Actually it wasn't that difficult as it is indeed what I am learning throughout my tertiary education life.

Those 2 have definitely taught me loads regarding shares and gave me the exposure I actually needed. Prior to that, I can say that I have not gained a single practical exposure to what shares are really like.

Back to my topic. Went to Dataran Maybank at Bangsar to open a CDS account. What is CDS? It's short for Central Depository System. Something one require to be able to trade stocks or shares online. In other words, it gives you the ability to own and control your very own portfolio. Why of course, there are definitely risks associated with share trading.

So, upon being made known to be regarding the Pavilion REIT offering IPO, I wasted no time and decided to waste a day(to not study) and opened a CDS account immediately. Hold on, someone asked what is REIT and IPO? I'll just give their full name here and hopefully they are self explanatory. REIT stands for Real Estate Investment Trustand IPO stands for Initial Public Offering. Well, I got to admit, this seems to be a jargon for one who aren't really associated with these stuffs.

Pavilion REIT or PAVREIT to me seems like a prospective investment. At a price of RM0.88, it seems like a worthwhile investment with promise of at least 90% distribution. Go grab the prospectus and have a look.

I'll just list down some of my main points which made me to decide on this.

1. It's a shopping mall located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur where it's main target is upper market consumers.

2. Though there may be competition from suburban malls outside city area, those didn't really pose a threat as the mall's income is not exactly from customers, but from the tenants of the mall. And yes, being at the place it is located, I cannot believe that there are no retailers queuing to open in Pavilion.

3. The profits for FYE 2010 is RM202m and Total Liabilities are atRm805m. The TL to profit ratio is 3.98 which means PAVREIT can easily pay off the debts within 4 years, assuming the profits are maintained at RM200m level.

4. It has a relatively low level of gearing, approximately 20% if i am not mistaken.

5. It has a stable compounded annual growth rate of 8.5% which is also a good thing to know.

6. Is has a promise of at least 90% distribution on a half yearly basis. Which ultimately mean stable dividend income.

Well, those are what I have in mind for now. I didn't have much time to flip through the whole prospectus and analyse it word by word.

Applied for the IPO but wasn't sure whether will I be selected for it or otherwise. Fingers crossed that I actually do get it.

It's just a date for most, one of those in a yearly cycle of 365 days.

Why does this date plays such a significant role for me to blog a page about it? Well, the reason is fairly simple. It's my big brother's birthday. He should be at a young adult's age of 25 this year.

The sad thing is, he's no longer here. He's moved on to a different place which we all have yet to discover. He left us when I'm in form 5 in the year of '07.

Frankly speaking, I still can't really get over it. It still feels like it was yesterday that he's still here. Sometimes we just get the gut feeling that someone is watching what we are doing, looking after us and at times, I still dream about him. Yes, that sort of like tricked my mind into thinking that the dreamworld is the reality and the reality is the dream. You get the idea.

My feeling this year as per compared to the year before is much different. There's this calmness which I'm feeling but yet the sense of disbelief of how things actually turned as it is. Well, last year was kind of a little embarrassing, I vented out my feelings and how much I actually missed him.

4 years have passed. 4 years. That's approximately 1460 days or the equivalent of 35040 hours. Goodness, it seems so long but the truth is that time actually passes by much faster than we ever noticed. I was in Form 5, and now I'm in my final year taking accounting, whereby if all goes well, I'll be out in the working world in no time.

I wonder what's his comment on me pursuing accounting rather than my actual interest at sciences. I also wondered what would he actually be now or rather where will he be working if he is around. Apparently, things aren't the exact way I hoped for it to be.

There's just this void. An unfilled gap that makes you feel numb towards whatever bad that could happen to you. The level of emptiness just makes one feel that there is no any suffering that could top this. What's worse was sometimes when I woke up from sleep, I have to remind myself of which is reality and which is not. Yeah, after 4 years, this still happens to me. Don't blame me, I don't know why. Probably my brain is toying with me.

When is the exact date he left us? Honestly, I can't remember. Somehow I think my brain is just unable to register that date into my system. Despite being reminded by my mum to keep that date in mind, I still forget about it. Well, it's not that I deliberately don't want to remember it, somehow it just wouldn't want to be remember. Maybe this can be attributed to my forgetfulness and maybe another part of me just couldn't accept the plain fact that he had left for a better place.

and yeah... the significance of today's date...

Today is also the day where my younger brother receives his UPSR results. A result of 3As and 2Bs. I wouldn't say that it's a great result, but it's not exactly bad as well. To be fair, I'd say it's a so-so or average result. Well, not bad not bad. Looking at things positively, it shows that there are actually plenty of rooms of improvement, and he is yet to do so. Probably big brother up there forgot to give him some 'guidance' or 'enlightenment' during his exams.

Well, DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME!! I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET FOR ACCA!!!

I figure this needs mentioning as well. If there's anyone close to you, and you really appreciate them. Show it to him/her! Don't just wait! What are you waiting for? In fact, showing how much you care for one will definitely put a smile on their face not to mention that it will affect your emotions positively as well. Don't be like me, I didn't have the chance at all. That's my only regret. Time have passed and the history is history, nothing can be done to undo the past.

If you do have an internet connection up there, or perhaps you could see this. I'd just want you to know that you'll always be remembered. Look after those you care and remember to keep an eye for them. Though it has been 4 years. It still felt like yesterday.

wow.. it have been a while since i've logged into here to express some thoughts..

the title says it all.. time has passed and things have changed..

i can see that i no longer have the privilege to run a carefree life.. in no time i'll be out in the working world soon..

currently i'm already in my final year in TARC.. 3 years in here definitely passed darn quick..

there's no more Lineage 2 or DoTA.. internship had also just concluded few months ago..

being in the KPMG BEST skill programme certainly brought ample benefits to me.. mainly due to me being able to know more friends and gaining the opportunity to secure internship opportunities in KPMG..

while i'm at it.. i'd like to dedicate this post to my fellow group members of BEST programme, Woan Yuen, Serene,Liang Yew,Wan Teng,Mei Yen, Sha and Padma.. the past 1 year with you people is definitely a memorable one! =) i feel so privileged to be able to join this programme with you guys and i hope the memories of us stays with us all the time and never forgotten.. like this blog of mine =D

Life in Advance Diploma 1st Sem - Summary

Do you believe in the strength of coincidence? Yes? No? this is my true story.. this post might change your perception.

Never had i thought time would have passes so quickly that I'm actually already in advance diploma going for ACCA. Looking further back, I NEVER expected i'd even be taking accounting and yet..here i am now.

well, 1st lecture in advance diploma.. it was all new.. fresh, jubilant and high spirited.. we all are required to select only few of our friend to be together and this only means one thing = no more old classmates.. so i ended up with 4 fellow SBS SWC committees and got drafted into AFA Group 12.

at 1st i was thinking..omg..i never knew anyone there but a few familiar name (they went to same co curriculum squash group with me 1 and half years ago). yes, just the name..i don't know them actually..only seen the name.. well, at least it's better than being in a class with total strangers and having to make friends all over again.

then, on the following lecture, as i went down to obtain some notes.. i stumbled upon 2 individuals whom i didn't know is my new classmates.. both looked familiar yet i cannot recall where have i seen them. eventually, both of became my class's representative and 2 of my closest known new friend.

then i still hasn't made any new friends yet as tutorial class is yet to begin. english class was my 1st tutorial class.. this is when all 28 of us in group 12 is in a room attending a class. we were handed a task where we have to conduct a 'mock meeting'. initially, the size of the group is supposed to be 4-5 people per group. then, one of the aforesaid girls same to approach us asking whether do we want to merge our group with theirs, forming a group of 10 ppl. eventually we went with it and conducting a meeting based on one of the event our SBS SWC had organised before. This is where we get to know each other more..the 5 girls whom did the mock meeting with us became my 1st 5 friends in AFA.

then onwards, time just flies, we get to know each other more.. finding out that one of the 2 1stly mentioned girls actually labelled me as 'egoistic' as i don't talk much during diploma times(specifically during squash lessons and i only nodded my head when i see her in EVERY examination location..yes..her venue is the same as mine all the time)..

my next few friends is 5 guys from dip in financial acc(DFA).. well, they're very nice and sociable guys.. and sometimes crazy.. suka suka can naik genting one..or just go IKEA for breakfast..all the way from setapak..lol...

then i went for a soft skills module by kpmg.. coincidently, one of the 1st 2 girls i had known and one of the guys from DFA was in too.. after a strict selection process, i made it in together with them.

now, coming towards the end of the semester and exams is just 2 weeks later, i reflect back on the events from the beginning of this semester. it is definitely a blessing that i have been put in group 12, whereby i made 2 close friends and 8 friends which came from a group of 5 girls and a group of 5 guys. What is the coincidence? well, my newly made close friends went to the same ACCA camp with me 1 and half years ago. One of them was in the same squash group with me, also 1 and half year ago..in every exam venue i was in..and now in group 12.among the group of 5 girls and 5 guys, some of them actually hail from the same secondary school but from different year(the guys are all 1 year the girl's senior) and are all in group 12 now.

can u understand the linkage between all of us? well, coincidence or not, i'll leave it up to you to decide.. but this is really what had happened to me..

i never expected AFA to be enjoyable nevertheless, their presense with me in my tutorial group definitely makes it worthwhile coming to tarc and studying accounting..

yeah..i learned how to use smileys..this one looks nice =)

OMG..at long last it's my holidays already...hmmm..it have already been a week since i've finished my last exam paper..

The borderline betweeen Malacca and KL

Come to think of it, I've already been at TARCollege for like 8 months already. In fact, I'm finishing my 2nd semester already(having exams..lol..still can blog).

Well, I just suddenly had this feeling where I'm nostalgic and reminiscing on memories back in secondary school. Looking back at the pictures and the NEW pictures of my friends in MHS,I can still feel the fun time we all had together. Sometimes I want to go back there to study together with those people but I just couldn't, I have a task to complete here.

Now, every picture of familiar faces I see seems to lack something, I can feel it, certainly and absolutely.

Everyone went on their own ways, only few are able to keep in touch with each other frequently(this applies only to those who are nearby to malacca). For those overseas or in states far away from Malacca? These people are definitely missed.

If you ask me, I would prefer time to freeze and the times of Lineage 2, DotA after school, skip classes, marching, playing squash with friends, playing paper planes in class, throwing chalks in class, calling people's father's name(CHOK!!! CHIN KWAI!!! CHENG LIAT!!! LOL!!) to continue indefinitely. Sadly, it couldn't.

Even me myself, I can feel that there is a gap now between me and my friends(a tiny gap that is). We start to communicate less(as we can't due to different study times) and we go on everyday(well,nearly) without them. In the past? We see each other everyday even on weekends(Mrs. Goh Chee Peng's extra classes ^^)

Well, that is just my thoughts on this matter, I have to stop now as it is 8.45pm and I am going out to take my dinner. I'm dead hungry..LOL.

That's all for now, I'll be leaving KL for Malacca this coming Saturday(24th of January 2009).

Okay...this post is dedicated to one of my favourite things...DOTA

A year ago.. when people was talking about dota...i said it was crap..
back then, i was indulged into Lineage 2-->lineage is life!

however, the glory days of lineage are over.. BUT...

i ventured into the unknown.. into dota..when JUDE...asked me for warcraft install cd...there goes...dota havebeen introduced to me..that was about 8 months ago

i can still remember..my 1st hero is dragon knight..used it on my 1st game..lol

when i 1st started..it don't really feel nice..i was like..oh..just like this..nothing much..so many things to remember and memorize( the items that is)..dang not so nice

then we switched between counter strike and dota..through what..? HAMACHI!!

ok ok..back to Dota...after some time..i've practiced with AI+(which that time jude said is unbeatable).. and just got familiarized with it..and now..8 months later..i find that dota isn't just really a game that wastes time..

dota... improves one's decision making
dota... makes one feel more bonded with his teammates
dota... makes one braver
dota... enables one to think critically
dota... promotes creativity
dota... teaches teamwork

AND LASTLY

hmmm...this week don't seem good to me...how..?
well..it's like..not having enought time to finish your test paper when u know u can complete it one...so..what's my problem..? it's the bloody finger nails..it's long and i can't really press the calculator well..made me miscalculated and wasted my time to recalculate..
what more..?i have to do the running around to get ppl to vote for me as the school rep, didn't really thought of going for it one, but due to my promise to my seniors..i have to complete it.. election will be done on monday..(ya..it's like malaysia's election day)..i'm one of the three nominees.
today is friday...tomolo i will have to go to INTI for squash competition..well..sort of squashathon...charity match like that..but sure got competition also one cause prizes will be given..feel tired..all my limbs..morning so damn hard to wake up..have to crawl out man..feel like skipping class just to get one whole day of sleep..
there's this SBS nite coming soon..one the 23rd november..it's lke prom nite like that one..i'm one of the organiser..have to make sure everything is ok and arrange for it..dance practice alsi have to attend...can say nearly everyday come back at 9.00pm or even later..today got dance practice again...so...it 's also going to be one hell of a day..haha..
did i forget to mention that i went to shah alam's taman pertanian malaysia last saturday..? haha...cycled like mad there man......together with my SWC committees..then we went sunway..

ok..i've been neglecting my blog for a while...time to make up for it...

hmm..holidays is nice..lol...did quite some things... among them are...

1) bought a new squash racquet..hehe
2) repaired the car's window and door (sent to mechanic)
3) played squash
4) played dota kao kao (and will continue to do so)
5) lost weight (only 2 kg...pathetic)
6) ate alai ikan bakar~
7) ate big apple donuts..haha..ALIEN is nice...

and things i want to do before going back kl on sunday

1) play badminton
2) buy new court shoes
3) watch movie
4) sleep until night time..lol....(night to night...which is impossible)

well well...2nd semester coming..timetable out d..hahaha..in comparison..not much difference from last semester's timetable... tuesday i used to have off day...now i only have class from 8 to 10 on tuesday....then off d..haha...what's better..? friday still OFF..haha...nice..

EXAM finish!!!!!

I just only finished my exam..hehe....for 1st semester.. approximately 1 hour ago.. phew..the feeling of relieveness cannot be described in words..

finished my paper at 3.30 (last paper is microeconomics)..then looked at the clock.. hoping it to pass early..then i decided to check my answers.. after finished checking..the time is 3.48pm.. then i looked at the clock...

suddenlty, the sight of me waiting for spm to finish appears in my head..i still remember how my friends count down to the last second during the bio spm paper.. 5....4.....3....2....1... yeah! haha

did my own countdown..myself in my heart..lol..not like how it was back in secondary school..secondary school life is the best..misses it alot..imagine..even spm which is one of the most important exam seems like a joke to all of us..( in SFI at least). haha..now in my room blogging waiting for Loo Han to reach my place..later he following me back to malacca..

and guess what..I'LL be in MALACCA for 2 FULL weeks..hehehehe...

my plans while in malacca..?

i plan to lose weight..now i weigh about 76 kg.. i plan to go down to the 60's...so..wish me luck!! ask me out for badminton la...squash la...anything la..haha..janji can sweat.. oh ya..eating counts as well..cause exercise d hungry ma...haha..

so..i can't wait to see my friends back in malacca..nic la..lem la... those jokers la..haha..

just finished my business statistics exam..just entered my room here..

one word..i'm a failure...omg..i cannot answer the exam questions for business statistics.. i think i easily just lost about 30+ marks out of 100..i also doubt whether can pass or not..

what's the use getting full marks for coursework..? how also succumbed to exam pressure...brain froze..just froze..cannot think..not relaxed..panic..haih..

if fail any subject..no more scholarship for me..it will be withdrawn..omg..i'm so dead..

i'm down..very down..damn..i suck..

oh my gosh...got hubungan etnik exam this friday...it is so so hard to read it man..so much crap inside the book..got 6 more chapters consisting of 140 pages and i got less than 40 hours to finish it..pray for me to finish it before the exam.. T__T

OK..here goes..I AM BACK TO BLOGGING..haha..

well.. truthfully speaking..i don't really have alot of things to talk about..that's why i didn't blog much..lol..so so sorry.. however i can still see ppl not giving up on my blog.. some ppl still visits here even i didn't update..thanks for the support!!! haha

ok..lemme try the formal way..( with the correct punctuation and capital letters )

How's my life? Well, it turned out quite well. Unbelievably, my course work results are superbly great, believe it or not, for a noob guy like me can top my tutorial group's results. Well, 4 out of 6 though. The other 2? Not top, but nearly top. Lol. Let me start from where I left off from my last blog about my life in TARC.

Last 2 months ago,i got selected to be in the college's squash team and guess what, I got to play free squash there every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. However, I only attended Monday and Wednesday and not Friday as I will usually be back in Malacca on Thursday night. Haha. Life's great here, but short of what secondary school life's like. Yesterday I browsed through my collection of Form 5 pictures and I felt so damn nostalgic.

Secondary life feels nicer, where everyone just haves fun in class and takes huge exams together. Now? Everyone haves their own way. No more meeting every morning anymore and no more chit chatting or gossiping anymore. No more guys stripping naked running around comparing male breasts during PJ time and no more dad name calling like Chok San, Chin Kwai, Foot Seng, Tong Eng, Voon Chow and Aik Cheong. No more English Team Vs China Town Football. No more begging PJ teacher for PJ.

It feels like time passes so fast. I can still remember how I wanted secondary life to finish when i am in Form 2. However, the best is in Form 5. The act of us playing paper airplane and camwhoring in lecture theater just 3 days before SPM examinations just shows show much relaxed we are when we are together.

Sigh. All the good old times. Remember Lineage II? All thanks to Lem who introduced the unimaginable superbly addictive game. Frankly speaking, I had very nice time playing that game, getting to know 3 new friends which I still keeps in touch until now. Those 3 are Lawrance, Anthony and Kelly.

Ok. Back to TARC. Entered squash team, having midterm and now final exam. Yesterday completed the BITA (Business Information and Applications) paper. Still got 5 more papers to go. Where the last one is on the 19th September. Not going to be back in Malacca until when the exam finishes. Then after? I'll be having semester break for TWO FULL WEEKS! LOL

LOO HAN, JUDE, HIU, MANOJ, LEM, NICK!! BADMINTON!!! DOTA!!! Haha.

The teachers here are great. Not all though. My favourite is my BITA teacher and Account teacher. They are friendly and caring. Makes me feel more like back in SFI ( Pn Goh ) The campus is HUGE. I've read that they said this campus measures to an area of 70 hectars. Kinda hard to believe right? For those that do not know. I'm currently staying in a rented room. One person. So, I do not have a roommate. Haha. There are quite a lot of nice food in my area here. So, I was actually shocked when some people said I got thinner. Lol. Fairer? Practically I got scourged by the sun when i walks to the Lecture Hall which is about 5 minutes walk under the hot sun.

Oh ya, went back malacca last week and managed to buy 2 Cecelia Ahern's Novel ( Try reading it, it's nice ) at a price of RM26 and RM27 each, which is a lot cheaper then the original price and NO! It's not pirated, it's because of the Independance Day Offer. Haha. ~Happy~

OH MY GOD...what a day i have today..(ya..i'm back in malacca)...
1st..morning..went to jude's house and play dota until 12...then went to MHS to visit friends..
after that...went to kong wah with jude..wanted to meet up with lem and nick...then jude went to mp and eat with loo han and kin wee
me..?i stayed at lem's shop and clean my glasses and chit chat a bit..after that...we went to fetch ester and makan mixed rice together at erm...somewhere near simply fish.
then...we rushed to dp to go for the movie we are watching..which is 'get smart'(actually supposed to watch 'kungfu panda' one)...on the way there...jude called and called and called my hp...
here comes the terrifying part...when driving..i picked up the phone...and nicholas..jokingly says there is a policeman.. me,lem and ester thought he was joking..(i think he's joking also)
THEN...OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD
REALLY ONE POLICEMAN PASS BY....and guess what..? he saw me...OH MAN.....i was telling myself..'Oh shit..i'm dead...oh shit...' then ester and lem plus nick was like...oh their god....then the policeman asked me to stop by the road..i stop and went out...
he asked for my license...i panic ma...cannot find get...oh man...so scared it's not in my wallet...
then found d give him...then he write a summonce for me....here goes my clean record...GONE
KENA SAMAN ALREADY!!!!!! FOR USING HP!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!! WHAT LUCK I HAVE?!?!???!??!?!?!?! HAIH!!!!!

how was the movie..?ok la..quite funny...meaningless though...haha...some kind of spy and fighting crime type of movie..but extremely hilarious..
after movie...sent ester back..then went to jude''s house...play dota with him while waiting for time to passs cause have to fetch her ma...(to those who read..pls keep the saman thing from her..i mean keep the news from her)...haih...every dota match played with jude today..all lost..haih....what bad luck...
anyways...i felt ok about the saman though....kena saman for the very 1st time with 3 of my bestest friends in the car...ya...trust me...witht hem there..i didn't felt like weak at all...i just faced the law-enforcer like a man..haha...

so so so so sorry~! that i didn't update for so long.. well..i have a perfect explanation for this..my place back in kl haven't got streamyx connection yet...currently waiting for them to fix..
well...lemme brief you guys about me in the past 2 weeks...went to tarc already...settled in d..accounting it is...no turning back..how was the school..?well..it's ok ok la..compared to my previous place(which is like a shopping complex)...lol...the building looks quite old...somewhat like a secondary school...except the place is HUGE..the only places nice are the squash court and swimming pool...yeah!! SQUASH COURT!!!!!!!! that's like my 2nd home..haha..
k la...i shall put in more in my next post..hopefully the internet connection is up there asap... and..I'M IN MALACCA FOR THE WEEKEND!!! CALL ME!!!

is Biotech the right one for me..?

Biotech..is it the right one for me..? ya..i'm asking whether i should study biotech anot..ok..i know that i'm so enthusiastic about coming here and study biotech..but now that i'm here...things seems a bit different than expected..
firstly,i was suppose to be here for the scholarship they're giving me(the 40% tuition fee waiver)..until now...nothing have been heard from them..nor anyone contacted me..
secondly..i seem to lose interest in my once favoured science subjects..as u guys know..chemistry was my favourite..and unbelievably..today...in the chemistry laboratory class...i DO NOT even have the desire to listen nor carry out the experiment..i just did it for the sake of my group members asking me to do..(believe me..they call me mr.ong or tai lou and be the group leader)..
last sunday(which is yesterday)..i browse through the internet..and went to tar college web..then i saw the may intake for their college..(something then pops out to my mind..accounting..highly in demand and i can study there with 100% tuition fee waiver)...after talking to my mum for a moment..she encouraged me to try to apply...i did apply for nottingham as well...for engineering..as for the tar college..i put accounting..(same as my gf..she's there as well)
this morning i called the tar college personnel..enquiring them about the intake..and whether i'm still in time for it anot..they ask me to send up to them 1st..then they'l let me know..
as for nottingham..engineering...it's just apply for the sake of trying luck for jpa scholarship for local private university..
what bothers me is that why did i feel that the chemistry class is not what i want...did i just lose my desire to pursue science..? furthermore..the lecturer knows my bro..he came and asked me whether i'm tzong huat's bro..i said i am..the moment he asked me that...i felt so damn guilty for ever thinking of changing course.. am i here just to continue my bro's legacy here..? or subconciously..i just wan to feel what my bro studied here and experience it here..it feels so weird..why am i so enthusiastic before coming here..and now i'm like 'why did i come here?'.. if i am to be accepted by tar college..is accounting what's suitable for me..? i know i do like sorting out things in an orderly matter..and accounting is high in demand..biotech..?many say it ain't so bright..today itself my mum already sent out my application for tarc...and i shall receive response from there in 3-5 days time..i was hoping u guys can drop your comments on this and help me in choosing the correct thing to do..which is leave ucsi and study accounting..or stay here as the no interest for science is only temporarily...

homesickness

ya...i'm suffering from homesickness..really..i never expected this though..haha...didn't know i'm so not used to having nothing to do but stay in the hostel..haha.. i'm not ashamed to say this..tears actually flowing down my eyes as i type this..haha..lol...something must be wrong with me..can't stop it though...cannot control u know..haha..

guess this time i felt the worst kua...last week also felt similar to this..but have to tahan..haha..my god sis and my late bro's friend is there with me..they accompanied me for dinner that time...i guess they can sense that in me too..lol..

how do i feel..?haha..i feel so so sick of waiting in the hostel here for the classes..and even i'm back in the hostel...there's nothing to do but online..as in watch youtube videos and chat..that's why thesedays u can always see me online..no longer appear offline..haha...here i'm typing this blog with tears coming down my eyes...with my roommate beside doing his things..reading up the dictionary as his english not that good..hope he don't notice me crying..LOL

being here..i do really wish the 4 years end fast...or rather being out of here and be with my gf or family or friends...dunno this is just temporarily feeling or it will go on as long as i'm staying here... i hope it dun last long..

how do i know i'm suffering from homesickness..? while i was downstairs watching tv..i read a pamphlet..titled 'home away from home'..haha..there got write some symptoms of homesickness..haha..so..i read and then only knew i'm actually homesick..

haha....good thing my gf called me and conforted me a little..as i'm typing this part..i'm already under a controlled state..so...no more emotional feelings..LOL...guess u guys who are reading this is saying 'what man..tzong meng homesick?' or 'oh my god..he cries'..lol...i'm not ashamed to say this..

UCSI orientation 1st day

HERE..as promised..i'll show u guys the pictures 1st...haha.. enjoy~

OK..last pic for now..this is the outside cafetaria..just outside the main building(where the cafetaria mentioned just now is JUST inside the main building)

OK...now i talk...haha..well...last nite i slept at about 10.30 (early heh..?) haha..had a quite nice sleep...except that the fan is noisy..OMG..ya..no air-cond.. woke up at 6.40..tried to sleep back..but couldn't..haha..so...decided to go brush teeth..and work in 'secret recipe' then bathe..then only chance nicely and go for breakfast with my god sis(wan ting)..hmmm...ate roti telur and teh ais for breakfast..haha..

TO my amazement...wan ting walked to there from her rented house..well not house to be exact..rented room's house..lol..we ate breakfast for nearly an hour..lol..have to kill time..cause really got nothing to do..omg..so so boring..so..after breakfast..which takes place from 8.15 to 9.10..i went into the main building..there only to be greeted by a senior asking 'are you a new student here?'..then puzzled on how she know...i just said 'yes..and urm..where do i register myself..?'...she then pointed out to me the desk for biotech students..

then went onto the evalator and to the 4th floor..(very lazy wan climb the stairs..haha) wend into the hall..waited and waited while hearing the emcee blasting the speakers off..OMG..nearly deaf man..there then they brief about the rules and regulations in this campus...introduce the departments to us..and tell us about the examination formats lo...about the way they count the marks and deadlines of stuffs and etc..digi reps were there as well...(and i got a free goodie bag~yay~~)haha...they digi guys there tried to convert ppl to join them..(too bad it didn't change my mind to stay as maxis..haha)

so..we went on for lunch break at 1.30..ate fried rice at the cafetaria below the hostel(yup..another cafetaria in the campus area..lol)..and back in the multipurpose hall at 2.30.then..got briefing anbout dicipline and finance..then FINISH!!! haha..for me at least..the rest of the activities is organised my the DIGI reps..which constantly gives out free things for ppl to do weird things..haha..well..that's roughly how my orientation 1st day went on..checked the timetable already...wednesday going back malacca,,,haha.,..monday only start class..yay~~

well..that's all for now..i hope my post this time is enough to feed u guys for now..i shall put in more pictures once i've explored more of this place..haha..and.. see ya in malacca!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENJOY READING!!! and miss u guys back there..

here i am...and yes...u've guessed it..UCSI..lol...just arrived here today...now in the hostel.. hmmm....room..?it turned out quite nice..better than expected at 1st..haha...roommate..?haha...he's a quiet guy from johor..lol..the room here no air cond one...T___T sobs..haha

paid the hostel fees already..and wah...the laundry ar..must buy the laundry bag one..yes...seperate payment..which means i have to have to fork out another 10 bucks for it..ish...why wasn't it included in the fees..?

pictures..?ya...sure..haha...i'll upload them tomolo after taking them after the orientation...hope to be back in malacca soon..haha..which is after orientations..

2 more days..yes TWO.. and school starts for me...lol..u guys have to wait longer..,haha(may 12 isn't that long rite?)

ok...i have explainations for not updating my blog... below are the reasons:-
1)Alex went to japan,have to help him feed his dogs and jaga house and car for 1 week..yes..one whole week
2)Went to shop for things that i might need in kl
3)Play dota
4)Play squash
5)play badminton
6)go pasar malam(^^)
7)go MBO(watch forbidden kingdom--->omg..they managed to make a movie out of nothing
8)DOTA
9)watch tv
10)jogging
11)defend the ancients(sentinel)
12) ok..i'd better stop here of else ppl will start sending death threats to me...haha

now...to NICHOLAS : ok..we'll hang out...but when..?lol..go karaoke wan..?on sunday

OH MY GOD!!!!!! I SURVIVED!!!!!!!!! LOL

Haha.. went to that vampire's lair(pathology and clinical laboratory in melaka raya) already!!! i made it out alive!!! LOL.. and..here's the agenda of the heroic actions...
-arrived at 9.00a.m.
-waited for about 15 minutes for my turn
-given a small bottle and being asked to go to the toilet and force out my urea and mineral salts
-went to toilet
-still in toilet
-........(u know what i'm doing)
-came out
-name being called(for blood sucking ceremony)
-sits on the chair
-the senior technician wipes my hand with alcohol swabs
-beats my arm
-straps something on my arm(to stop blood flow kua...)
-then he gives me a test-tube-like-thingy ane here's the funny part..
-i look at him dumbly and asked him why he give me that thing..he just made my hand hold the thing
-then i asked..'u wan me to hold or grab it?' he said grab it..lol(ya..that guy never..ya NEVER smile or talk one)
-then he takes out the syringe(OHMYGOD... the needle is BIG..ya..bigger than usual one)
-searches for my vein(kinda pro le...a while only he found d)
-right after he found it..without warning..he just poke the needle into me..omg...merciless man
then he pulls the syringe..i see some blood flows intot he syringe..then stop d..and for a moment i thought it was stuck..LOL
-but then..it was filled up suddenly in about 4-5 seconds...
-MY BLOOD IS VERY DARK RED in colour..guess i'm not healthy..lol
-then he takes out the syringe(YAY~done at last)
-and plasters my arm

1st of all..i want to say SORRY for not updating the blog for such a long time...was kinda busy..haha

Back to my title... OH MY GOD!!!!! I don't know how i got into this..but somehow..my mum managed to force me to go for a blood test!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*faints... why must i go...?*sobs.. it's only going for kl to study ma...for what want to go until the extend where examine everything including blood to ensure nothing is wrong with me..?? it's not like i'm going out for war or enter into a country with many diseases..

HAIH!!!! tomorrow will be the day where those ppl giong to steal my blood from me.. (this is my 1st time as well..furthermore..i dun like needles..nope..i hate it..)..haih...i don't know what more to say...wich me luck u ppl...and..do check on for what's happening next

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLIDAY AT LASTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!! The 1st since SPM over~~

LOL...holiday..? You guys must be wondering what has happened to me. 1st Holiday since SPM over..? Haha.. Yup! That's true..beggining the 1st of April,I'm no longer working..hehe...time to taste freedom after working for 3 months and 21 days..haha..

Anyways...since i'm so free now..I'm available for booking as well..haha..for futher enquiries,please contact me for further details..hehe..terms and condition are as stated below..^_^

1. Booking fees will me RM100.00 per hour,and for public holidays it's RM250.00/hour(ROCL).
2. Time of booking will be from 10am-8pm daily and booking must be made one day earlier.
3. FUN must be the priority together with friendshipness.
4. 'Yam-Cha' is highly encouraged and sometimes will go under the house.(SOMETIMES!!!)
5. For 'BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP',no booking required..(hehe)
6. For 'SHOOTING PRACTICE', just IM,call or HAMACHI me anytime i'm on.
7. For dating...just give it up..i'm taken..(ROTFL)
8. If wan 'chia' or belanja me makan,exception is given..no booking required as well.
9. Offer expires on the 28th of April 2008.
10. After the aforesaid expire date..thou shall wait for me to have semester break from UCSI for futher booking.

Your co-operation is very much appreciated...payment can be in cheque or cash..credit card can be accepted but only with the extra charge of 3% or 5% for nationwide card and international card respectively.

The Next Move

whoa...never update blog also seems like a huge crime..lol...k la..about my future ar..
next move..or rather next step.. study of course..lol..but not in form 6 though.. went to ucsi to look out for things d..and registered there... quite fann actually to think what to do next..accounting la...medic la.. engineering la... so many seems like and wan to do..but certainly not all is suitable...
one small advice for all whom yet to decide...before decide on things..check out what kind of course of study that suit your personality and interest..then..if got shortlisted some d..find out more about the course..as in what are the field of study...and the career options..however..the most inportant one is your interest in it..keep that in mind..lol..if u got the chance..talk to the ppl that is in the field that u are interested in..they sure can provide u with sufficient information one...
for me..?i did what i just said and what i want to go for..? hehe..biotech..ever heard of it..?it's actually like a study of science using technology..interest wise..?yup! i like it..haha..career wise..?going into R&D(hopefully...lol)...if got accepted le..i'll start in april.. end of april that is..one bad thing though...no friends with me there ar...(sobs.....)..many went to sunway la...taylors la...some went to nilai..help...tarc... hope can keep in touch with them though..
k la..this is just a quick update in response to alex's suggestion of me blogging about my future..shall update it quite soon again..till then..bye~! hope this can keep u guys happy..(for a few days i hope..lol) and have something to read..haha...

The day the results are out(spm results)..i see many nervous faces..and then a crying face..(ham..after he know he got straight A's before it was announced) LOL..

the anxious wait continues..until when my class teacher comes out from the office...carrying a box into the hall..then we all followed her into the hall..(thinking why the heck is she walking so slowly without saying anything)...when we're inside..in comes mr.yong(with the list of straight a's students in his hand)...then he starts to mention some names..then...time freezes..(for me at least)

in my mind i thought.."he's mentioning the names of excellent students..will my name me mentioned..?"..what a question that would be..and what a dream it would be if it happened..then...i thought of another thing...a flashback to be exact..

Me : haha..u watch out...i'm so gonna beat u in the spm result..
Him : yea rite..u think u can ar..? try la..

Me : i'll even try to get straight A's for u to see ar..by then u'll better be ready to fetch me..

Him : haha..okay..no problem..u get 1st only say..

Me : hmmm...then must go catch 'big fish' d...haha...hopefully get jpa..

*flash back ends..and reality comes back into the picture..

mr.yong mentions one by one..bhavik...jude...ham...soon heng...lem...nick...beng choon...phillip..teng quan..kai zong..and issac pang...

to tell the truth..i caught a glimpse of the list of paper(the handwriting is big..it's quite easy to see)...the moment i sees it..(for roughly 1/8 of a second)..i can see no name containing the word 'ong'..i then knows that i didn't get what i've said to my bro..

then..the rest of us goes to our class teacher while the one with straight a's went reeling away to the school office..to obtain their result slip of course.. i waited and waited...until it's my turn..i take a look at the paper.....

*sweat...wth..of all subjects...bm and moral got b3 while est got a2..others went well with grade 1 though..

i look at my teacher while she looked at me at amazement...(she teacher me bm and moral btw)...i told her,"teacher ar..your subjects...haiyo...wasted..."

then...i went to my mummy as she asked what did i get..showed her the results..and she mentioned that it's very good results..but to me...? it ain't really good..it seems like i've failed my bro..(as in straight a's challenge)...

then...after staying at school cursing my luck...i went for lunch with stella and my friends..after that..i went to temple to 'send' the failure news to my bro..whether he receives it or not..i wasn't sure...

and now today...i've went to the education fair in kl..went seeking and looking.. after seeing..it seems what my bro took is like what i wanted..it seems like i'm destined to continue his studies there..however..the choice is yet to be made..(still under consideration..)

after the fair..we went shopping..(my parents,little bro and god-sis)..then...my god-sis tells me..then my late bro's friend tell her then he dreamt that my bro and them outside 'yam-cha' and my bro is very happy...then..she continue and say..her younger sis..also dreamt seeing my bro..with a smiling face..and finally..so does she...in a dream seeing him smiling happily..

i guess the message is received by him...and after all this while..i guess i haven't failed him.. i'm going to excel and do my best..just as what he had told me..where am i to go after this..? the decision is still unclear...but what's important to me..is that i haven't failed...though sometimes tears do roll down my eyes..i'm not shy to say this... as no one can deny it..i do miss my bro.. he might not be here now..but he's always in my memory.. the smile..? it stays in as well..forever in my thoughts..
